I drew this at the end of May, but I only just gave it a basic color job. This adorable little man is based on a real life encounter at the time I drew this! The story goes like so:
My friend and I met a man named Rex on the pier at Ocean Beach. He got uncomfortably close to us and shared a fishing story with pictures about a guy who hooked a stingray that battled for hours. Rex told us he’s at the end of the pier almost everyday and he always has an extra pair of binoculars to share. Go to the end of the OB pier and ask for Rex. The man. The myth. The legend.
